Tournaments
The 2012 Baystars FC Surf and Turf will take place at the new Woodville Park in Gloucester, VA.
Teams competing in the 2012 Surf and Turf will be play 3 - 4 games.
1 match on the sand, and 2 on the turf are guaranteed.
Shin guards are mandatory on the grass fields.
Roster size: 6 max; the over 30 division is exempt from a maximum roster size
Games feature two 10 minute halves, with a 2 minute halftime.
Size 4 ball U9 – U12; Size 5 ball U13 and up. Sand soccer ball for the sand field.
No off-sides. No goalies. Sub on the fly.
Adult teams will receive a t-shirt.
DIVISIONS:
Over 30 Divisions: Recreational
Men’s Open (>18) Division: Competitive
Co-ed Divisions (>18): More recreational.Requires at least 2 women on the field at all times

GHS Lady Dukes win Penninsula District
The GHS Lady Dukes Varsity team are the
2011 PENINSULA DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!
They were also the District Tournament Runner-Up.
From the GHS Varsity team, 8 girls that play for Baystars were named All District!
First Team All District Players are: Delaney Doyle, Cierra Griffith, Chyenne Hogge, and Mary Williams
Second Team All District Players are: Carrie Adams, Audrey Collier, and Maegan Beck
All District Honorable Mention went to Karsyn Wass
The Coach of the Year went to Bob Fisher.
