Baystars FC 2007 Training Schedule PO Box 540 Gloucester VA, 23061   Team training will be conducted primarily on the airport fields located behind Burger King on Rt 17 in Gloucester.  Field space at that site has been reduced over the years, so coordinating field area usage and training days of week for individual teams will be carried out by the DOC.  Our Bethel-Peasley soccer complex can be used as alternative training sites, however, as last season we will continue to try and reserve those fields for our league home field matches.  June-August 12, 2007:  Players are on their own to participate in camps/clinics of their choice.  Coaches may provide for summer training sessions and/or team camp programs.  Local summer camps associated with Baystars include the 3D Soccer day camp (ages 6-16) June 25-29 at Abingdon Park, and the 3D Soccer Advanced Camp (ages 10-18) August 13-17 at Bethel soccer complex.   Please go to http://www.3dsoccer.info/ for more information on 3D Soccer camps. August 13-17, 2007:  First week of mandatory organized team training sessions, 2x/week U10/11-75 minute sessions, U12/18- 90 minute sessions.  Note that this period corresponds to the 3D Advance Camp. August 13- November 16, 2007; Weekly (2x) team training sessions.  Cross-training between will be strongly encouraged to aid in player development  Saturday morning clinics: 3D Soccer, 9:30 -11:00am at airport fields:        September 1, 8, 29, October 13, 27, and November 10, 2007 Keeper training, 9:00-10:30am at airport fields: August 25, September 8, 22, October 13, 2007 Wednesday evening 4v4 games: At airport or Bethel (4v4 training fields) 5:30pm August 29, September 12, 26, October 17, 24, 2007  Virginia Legacy Soccer Club technical training sessions and opportunities:   4-5 training sessions (90 minutes) in Gloucester, dates/time to be determined. U10-U14 Mini Camp: Two day pre-season (TBA) high intensity technical training session Advanced Player Program (AP2): Open to Baystars players for an additional fee, scheduled through Baystars DOC
